With HB 266, a bill to legalize homebrewing, being introduced, there is no better time to go out and try one of the beers in Straight To Ale’s (www.straighttoale.com) , Right to Brew Series.
The Right to Brew beers are a collaboration between Straight To Ale and local Homebrewers. Dan Perry (President of Straight To Ale) gives a little insight into the series:
“Yes, we do a Right To Brew series, working with local homebrewers. We have
them come into our facility with their recipes and we scale them up and brew
the beer with them for release in the market. So far, we have released 3
beers in the series – Hellfire Belgian Quad, Laika Russian Imperial Stout,
and Charon Robust Porter.”
Straight To Ale already has three more in the works for the series, a saison, alt, and a tripel. There are plans to do more, but a definitive release schedule is still in the works.
The Charon Robust Porter will be making it’s appearance at The Nook on April 2.
